The new Strawn Wagner Museum, which pays tribute to all the famous miners in history, as well as the most famous diamonds ever found at the Crater, will officially open its doors the day after Thanksgiving. Come for the party!


Shirley Strawn, who is the curator and official tour guide, will give a tour of the mine and a class in diamond prospecting and how to use the equipment. The class which is approximately an hour and a half, costs $25 per group. Please make arrangements ahead of time if you are interested. The extended tour, is $50 per group and includes a tour of the mine where Shirley will personaaly accompany you for two hours at the mine and show you all the best spots to dig for diamons. Shirley has found over five hundred diamonds including the Strawn Wagner diamond, The Patriot among others.
